MARY MARY'S TINA CAMPBELL OPENS UP ABOUT HER HUSBAND'S INFIDELITY

If you've ever been cheated on by your spouse, then maybe you should read this. Tina Campbell, the other half of gospel group Mary Mary opened up to Ebony magazine June issue about infidelity in her marriage; how her husband of 13 years had an affair for two years; how she first wanted to harm him and divorce him, then learning to forgive and working things out.

Tina on discovering her husband was having an affair:

“Once I became aware [of the affair], I initially wanted to kill my husband…I was considering adjusting the will, the living trust and all that kind of stuff. I did physically try to stab him. Several times…I never got to the point of physical harm, not really, but my words…My words hurt. ”

A renowned American website, Washington Post, wrote an article about Nigerian/Ghanaian movies and stars, drawing attention to the bad attitude of Ghanaian sultry actress, Yvonne Nelson and how she acted bitchy diva on set of 'Night in Vegas'.

ANGRY JUDGE SENDS OKOTIE'S FORMER KEYBOARDIST TO JAIL OVER FB POSTS

An upset magistrate at the Ikeja Magistrate Court, Lagos, yesterday Thursday dispatched a former keyboardist of the Household of God Church, Dafiaghor Okiotor, to prison for contempt of court.

The magistrate, Mrs Oshodi Makanjuola, while accusing Mr. Okiotor of flouting her directives to desist from posting the court proceedings on social media; also announced that she is withdrawing from the case.

“I have two publications here,” Mrs. Makanjuola said, brandishing two pieces of paper.
“One is saying: Countdown to Reverend Okotie suit, let us find out if Okotie is too big to come to court. The other says: Hallelujah! Okotie Chris gets a dubious judgment…,” the magistrate read from the papers. “You even had the effrontery to publish my picture on a Sahara Reporters newspaper

For a while now, D’Banj and his management team have been planning to sign in rapper Olamide to the his label, however, Olamide turned down the Koko master’s offer, preffering to roll alone for now.
Olamide, who does not want to play the fool at this phase of his career, politely told D’Banj that he was not ready to surrender some of his powers, especially having to be booked for shows only by D’Banj’s management outfit, pleaded for time to even think about the offer as he still wants to work with his present team and taking things as they come for now.
He believes that for now, there is nothing D’BANJ could do for him that he can’t do by himself.
In the future, I will consider his offer. If anybody wants me, he should have unfettered access to me. I am just starting out in the profession’, he allegedly told close friends.

Police looking for a missing man were shocked to find him dead in his home — surrounded by over forty giant snakes.

Many of the reptiles, including a 30ft anaconda and four 35ft pythons, were slithering free around the decomposing body when police entered snake fan Heiko Rieder's apartment in Straubing, Germany.

A fire service spokesman said: "At least one was as thick as a human thigh."

Worried colleagues alerted police after the 40-year-old caretaker failed to turn up to work for a week.

LYNXX SUED FOR ASSAULT AND BATTERY- CLAIMANT DEMANDS 10 MILLION NAIRA

Lynxxx Sued For Assault And Battery, Claimant Demands N10m

Nigerian hip hop artiste, and Glo ambassador, Chukie Edozie, aka Lynxxx, is facing litigation at Igbosere Magistrates’ court for allegedly beating up a UK-based Nigerian businessman, Richard Bennet.

Bennet is asking for N10m damages for assault and battery because Lynxxx and his crew reportedly caused body injuries to him (Bennet) in a fracas at a Lagos night club, Ntycee Lounge and Restaurant.

The claimant, who was said to own two bars in Nigeria and the UK, in his claims, explained that he had gone to Ntycee with his nephews to relax. He said it was while strolling around the club, that his drink spilled on a lady who allegedly slapped him and emptied the content of her glass cup on him.

Bennet said, “Edozie on learning what had happened, grabbed him(Bennet) by the lapel, and later broke bottles and threatened to kill him if he did not apologize to the lady who happens to be his (Lynxxx) relation.”

The fracas led to the club being closed by the owners of the bar.

Bennet alleged that Edozie and his men waited at the gate, regrouped and forced themselves into the club where they “brutally assaulted him with several blows to the head and body.”

During the presentation of the case, none of the parties to the matter was in court, except the counsel for the claimant.

The matter was adjourned till July 2.

In January last year, J Martins and his then fiancee, Nnezi Mbila did their traditional wedding.

The wedding took place in the bride’s hometown of Ohafia in Abia State.

Nnezi, an Abuja-based banker got engaged to J Martins in 2011.

In another development, the singer has married his pregnant wife officially.

Their white wedding took place yesterday, Thursday May 30th, 2013 at Protea Hotel Oakwood in Lekki, Lagos.

According to insiders, J Martins did what he did because his wife is 4 months pregnant.

President Goodluck Jonathan, gave a robust defence of his administration’s performance at mid-term and dismissed public and media assessment of his ministers, saying the criticisms were mostly bereft of objectivity. Jonathan spoke at the public presentation of the administration’s mid-term report in Abuja during which administration officials rolled out positive financial indicators which among others was that Nigeria has become the highest investment destination in the continent.

Goodluck Jonathan was nevertheless dismissive of media assessment of his administration. He said that as a former teacher, he was conscious of the fact that any examination should be guided by a marking scheme.

MIGUEL FACING LAW SUIT FOR INJURING FAN ON BILLBOARD AWARDS

The last thing Miguel wants is a lawsuit. But he may just have one. Khyati Shah—the audience member who was accidentally landed on by the singer during his performance at the Billboard Music Awards a few weeks back—is now “considering” legal action.

Shah’s attorney, Vip Bhola, tells E! News exclusively that a decision will be made soon on whether to file a lawsuit against Miguel pending Khyati’s most recent medical results. He noted that the fan has been experiencing “difficulties” as a result of the incident.

“We will determine that after we have feedback from medical providers,” Bhola told E! News, declining to give a timeline on when any civil action might be filed.

A Harlem woman claims in a lawsuit that she got herpes at a Rihanna concert in Brooklyn from lipstick the singer endorsed. Starkeema Greenidge, 28, alleges she contracted the virus when a representative of MAC Cosmetics applied a used tube of RiRi Woo to her smackers.

“I wasn’t able to work for two weeks. It cost me a lot of money,” Greenidge, a waitress, told the Daily News on Wednesday.

She said she slapped MAC with the suit in Manhattan Supreme Court in hopes of forcing the company to be more sanitary in the future. Greenidge also said the company should train its employees to use disposable tubes or swabs to apply the lipstick.

OWNER OF ABUJA'S WONDERLAND AMUSEMENT PARK, AMIGO SUPERMARKET LINKED TO TERRORISM ACT

Nigerian security agencies have linked a co-owner of two major ongoing businesses in the nation’s capital as a ringleader in a major terrorist operation in the country.

In a statement by the spokesman of the Joint Task Force in Kano, Ikedichi Iweha, Fauzi Fawad, the co-owner of Amigo Supermarket and Wonderland Amusement Park, was named as a member of a Lebanese Hezbollah terrorist cell in Nigeria.

Wonderland is Abuja’s biggest and most popular amusement park, while Amigo is one of the largest supermarkets in the Nigerian capital.

The JTF said Mr. Fawad’s name was mentioned by “all those arrested,” for being in possession of heavy weapons, and other terrorism related activities.

Mr. Fawad is now on the run, the JTF said. It arrested three Lebanese suspected of owning the large cache of arms recovered at a bunker in the city. More after the cut:

THE family of Woolwich killer Michael Adebolajo “wholeheartedly condemned” the horrific butchering of soldier Lee Rigby. They revealed their “profound shame and distress” over the killing last week that shocked Britain.

It is clear that yesterday’s Nominations have the Housemates shaken up and ready to play the game. Saucy conversation and dirty dancing was the order of the day in the Ruby House as the Housemates marketed themselves to Africa. Housemates decided to push Nominations blues aside by stripping down to the bare minimums.

The infant was stuck in a pipe directly beneath a toilet commode, state television reported, in a case, which has sparked anger on social media sites.
