BELIEVE IT OR NOT, I WAS PAID N5MILLION AND MORE TO SHAVE MY HAIR - CHIKA IKE

A few months back, it was all over the news that Chika Ike was paid N5million to cut her hair in a movie role...many believed the report, but a few others did not. The likes of Charles Novia and co, insisted that she was lying! If a whole Chika Ike can be paid N5million, how much would they now pay Genevieve Nnaji or Omotola Ekeinde, lol.
Well in a recent interview, the nollywood actress when asked "Were you really paid 5million Naira to cut off all your hair? Because some quarters have been suggesting otherwise" defended her honour saying:
"Honestly, I was paid very well to cut my hair. I was not just paid 5million, but I was paid my artiste fee as well. And why not? I have grown my hair all my life and wouldn’t have cut it off for just anything. I was approached 3 years ago to do it but I turned it down because I wasn’t ready and I didn’t like the script. The same marketer approached me some months ago and I finally agreed to do it. So, yes I was paid that much."
