Rita Dominic who won last years best actress award at AMMA for her role in a kenyan movie titled "SHATTERED" got nominated for her role in her movie "THE MEETING" she was pitched against Ghanian actress yvonne okoro who was nominated for her role in "CoNTRACT".FLorence Masebe (Elewani),Mariam quedraogo(Moi Zaphira), Mbutung seikeh (Ninah'sDiary) and Malawian Flora Suya who was nominated for her role in Shem Joya's last fishing boat. Winning the best actress award for the second time, in the gorth coming grand finale of AMAA scheduled to hold in Bayelsa state, on April 25th 2013 will surely go a long way to boost the status of Rita as the best Africa actress inhe continent,while Ghana's YVONNE OKORO may pose a threat to her winning the award or does the fact that "The meeting" got six nominations brightens her chances of clinching the coveted prize.But who knows ,the battle is not always open for the strong to win.
