JURY CONVICT SANGINAW OF STABBING HIS NEIGHBOUR 54 TIMES TO DEATH

SAGINAW, MI — Lashon T. Hollman will spend the rest of his life in prison for murdering his neighbor last year by dropping a television on her head and stabbing her 54 times. A jury of eight women and four men on Wednesday, March 27, deliberated for less than 15 minutes, officials said, before convicting Hollman of first-degree premeditated murder in the early Feb. 1 homicide of Cassandra Nelson. The jurors also convicted Hollman, now 21, of felony murder, torture, and carrying a dangerous weapon with unlawful intent in the 28-year-old Nelson's death. As Hollman, now dressed in his Saginaw County Jail orange jumpsuit, listened to the jury's verdict, he lowered his head and cried. WHY WILL HE DO SUCH SO SAD
