A nursing mother and broadcaster with the Nigerian television Authority NTA Akure Ondo state Mrs Olubunmi ole who was kidnapped by four gunmen while coming to work at about 9:30pm around oba ile area of Akure metropolis last thursday, has been released and this was possible after the family paid 1 million naira ransom to the kidnappers who dropped her along the Benin ore Xpressway at about 11pm on saturday.
She has been barred from granting interviews on her ordeal.
Wole Ogodo,the police image maker,confirmed the release of the broadcast but said no arrest had been made,adding thathe wasn't aware of the ransom paid by the family of Bumi but assured that the police were on the trail of the kidnappers and would soon apprehend them
