LIBYA INTENT ON HOSTING 2017 CUP OF NATIONS

libya are pushing hard to host the 2017 African cup of nations to showcase the football progress of its youths and mark a return to normal times in a country of post revolutionary unrest. The North african country was to vote the 2013 tournament but the revolution which overthrew moamer kadhafi two years ago saw south africa step in ahead of its scheduled hosting of the 2017 event. Libya's deputy primier and head of its organising commitee Awad-Al-Bakassi says its oil rich country has decided to step back it and host the tournament on its 60 anniversary, "using all its resources" to ensure success.
