PHOTO: RAPPER EL TAKES OVER BBC 1 EXTRA

Ghanaian rapper and producer E.L, who was recently announced as the new presenter for the BBC Radio 1xtra “Xtra Talent” has been spotted having fun at the BBC studios in the UK.  He commented on the  experience saying, “Been an amazing trip bro, from BBC1 extra to BBC world today!”.  As host of “Xtra Talent”, EL will hijack the airwaves of the popular radio station throughout May by taking over the last hour of DJ Edu’s highly rated show, Destination Africa with Xtra Talent, playing a selection of the hottest Afrobeats.
Previous talents on the show include UK based Afrobeats artists Fuse ODG, Mista Silva and DJ Sef Kombo.

E.L will be taking over the show every Sunday night from 0100-0200 BST (12am – 1am GMT). The show will be available to listen again for the next seven days after broadcast on BBC iplayer or via www.bbc.co.uk/1xtra where it will be available for 30 days after transmission.
