RIOT AT UNIUYO, STUDENT REPORTEDLY SHOT DEAD

Report reaching slinlo.blogspot.com has it that as Uniuyo resumes second semester today --- just to surprise faculty of science students that their lecture venue has been moved to uniuyo permanet site.

The science faculty students that stay in school hostel has been thrown out of the school hostel

The school bus is the alternative for transport and the school said that each student has to pay hundred naira before using the school bus that was free.

The students now are angry, and are protesting, the block the ever busy ikot ekpene road...

Due to this, the police came to calm the situation only to inflict more pain and shot one student down dead, and there have been duel of gunshot for hours now..THEY ALSO injured three. (see photo of dead student below)The students angrily set the office of the V.C on fire and destroyed school property.

The students now are taking laws into their hands by planting petrol bomb inside the school just to set it on fire---But thank God for the security officials who are tried their best to stop this operation by students
